Hofmann Chemie Announces Reorganization Plan and the Moving of Its Headquarters to Basel

Basel - June 7, 2010 - Hofmann Chemie announces its plan to reorganize into holding company structure and the moving of its headquarters to Basel, Switzerland. In order to separate operational and strategic managements, Swiss-based Hofmann Chemie AG will be reorganized into a holding company. The group's core businesses will be transformed into limited companies, each controlled by Hofmann Chemie AG. There will be no impact on sales activities, or the quality and availability of any Hofmann Chemie products as a result of the reorganization. As part of reorganization, Hofmann Chemie has moved corporate headquarters to Basel and the Company’s headquarters function is now officially transferred to Switzerland. The company’s day-to-day operations will remain unaffected by this change. Hofmann Chemie’s financial performance is expected to improve further over the longer term.
